Title: Question about LDRs
Post by: MattAnonymous on April 20, 2004, 06:35:03 PM
LDR are just photo resistors, right?  Also, how do I measure the resistance of them with an analog multimeter?

LDR= Light Dependant Resistor so I would call them a photo resistor. :) To messure the light and dark resistance you could just throw the thing under a box or magazine, or something like that for the dark reading and for light put a good amount of light like say a desk lamp or a bright LED. Don't blast it with a bright bulb since thats an unrealistic amount of light.

you measure their resistance just as you would measure any resistance on your analoge meter...
