Is there a specific way you're supposed to mount LED's?

I've not used them until now.

I think theyr'e called bezels.

These are pretty cheap and look quite decent, they are not crome or anything schnazzy looking, they are made of plastic.

Bezel thingie-ma-bobbers (http://www.circuitspecialists.com/prod.itml/icOid/6314)

and remember, a 50 dollar order there gets you a free DMM which tests hfe, capacitance, temperature, continuity, plus all the regular stuff you'd expect!!

I've been using the plastic Radio Shack ones... and as long as you make the hole the right size (not too small - not too big) they work great.
