Title: Texas Instruments: Inventory= 0
Post by: bobbletrox on April 23, 2004, 09:22:39 AM
Damn!  Texas Instruments are out of all the chips I want, have none in progress, and have a lead time of "Call".  I was gonna pick up a few 4069s, 4049s, 4070s, and 40106s!  I also found out TI don't make 386s.

What a pain  :(

I don't want to burst the bubble but the more we talk about free samples the sooner they are going to stop giving them away.
It's not the chips, those are cents a pound but it's the shipping that's costly to TI.
By having a feeding frenzy here and other forums we upset the normal order of things, that is 10 people find out about freebies today,10 tomorrow and so on.I think after that thread here they suddenly got hit  with thousands of free orders.
Let it rest and order away without bragging or gloating and the benefit will be there a long time.
Trust me on this one.
