Title: Wiring in MXR Microamp to stay on all the time?
Post by: Duke of Metal on April 27, 2004, 03:42:51 AM
hey guys,
I have an MXR Microamp that I took the DPDT Switch out of because I needed for another thing thats more important.

My question, how do I wire the MXR Microamp so that it stays on all the time?? reason being is I am going to add it to my main rig and use it as an active buffer (set all the way down) and I dont think it'll be turned off anyways.

Any info would help help.

thanks,
Duke

Solder the pcb input to the input jack... solder the output (mosly likey on the pcb) to the output jack.

is it a factory microamp or a diy?

It's kind of hard to describe if you cant trace it out your self.

Get a schematic and trace the circuit to find the circuit input and output.  Then connect those to their corresponding jacks.
