Title: Ruby Mini-Amp Tone Control?
Post by: Arn C. on April 27, 2004, 10:45:02 AM
Anyone know a way to get a bass and treble or just a one pot tone control for the ruby at runoffgroove.com?

Thanks!

I would probably add an input buffer followed by a tonestack to the existing design.  So you'd have buffer - tonestack - buffer - volume control - 386 - out.  If you wanted, the first buffer could be changed to a gain stage to make up for the loss in the tonestack.

As far as choice of tonestack, the BMP style would be fine.
