Title: Blender Marker for PCB-making tips?
Post by: PB Wilson on April 27, 2004, 07:53:16 PM
I was at the local art store and picked up an Eberhard Faber Design Art Marker, 311 Colorless Blender to make my own PCBs. I made some photocopies at the darkest setting and am going to try to use the blender marker. Anyone try this? I found a website that shows how (easy, or so it seems- just put the photocopy face down on the cleaned copper and rub the blender marker on the back which transfers the ink to the board) but I wanted to get some advice or tips from anyone who has done this before. Thanks in advance.

I used to do a similar thing but rubbing the back of the photocopy with paint thinner. If done with photo paper, it's said to work quite well. You can iron it too.
