Title: Common parts values?
Post by: koolimy on April 28, 2004, 11:49:47 PM
Hi.. I am a newbie who's interested in building/designing my own pedal..

What are some common values I would need?

Such as common Cap values?
Resistors?
Pots?

I already ordered some jfets and NPN transistors from ONSEMI, so I think I could use those..
I would be glad if anyone could answer. Thanks.

Futurlec has some great deals on assortments of basic passive (and some active) components: http://www.futurlec.com/ValuePacks.shtml

Spend about $10 or $15 there and you'll be off and running.

Thanks!
The Electrolyctic & resistor assortment looks good...
I saw that there were also trimpots that were very cheap... (only 15c) could I use those in a stompbox? That place has very cheap prices...
