depends largly on what "leftovers" youve got
bass fuzz
electra distortion
little gem etc

Boosters, like MOSFET and LPB if you have extra BJT's or MOSFETs.

You could do a passive eq, like use a Big Muff tone stage if you want to use up some resistors, caps and a pot.  This would be useful for pre-coloring your guitar, or using it as an extra in-line tone control for distortions.

Op-amps are always good for boosters.  I have seen various schematics around for op-amp boosters.

Fuzz distortions are usually minimal parts cheap build pedals.

The Vox Treble Booster is a very simple build.
