Title: Neutron Power Supply
Post by: cahannon on May 01, 2004, 06:33:30 PM
"If you use the charge pump power option, populate the 7660 and capacitors, and
insert the two jumpers leading from the charge pump circuit at the bottom of the board. If you
use a dual battery or DC supply, leave all of these parts off."

I'm building a neutron and am confused on its power supply.  I want to use a 9V DC power adapter with a standard plug.  If I plan on doing this I would think it would be emulating a battery source and utilize the 7660 but in the quote above from R.G.'s neutron writeup it says to leave them off.  Am I reading this wrong?  I appreciate your help.

Dual battery or (dual) power supply.

If you are using a standard ps, then you will need the 7660.
