How exactly do I do this?? I have one that has 2 poles on the inside and 12 on the outside. Do I connect the outside poles to the cap and or resistor that I want to switch to and if so what do I connect the inside poles to?? Ground??
Thanks
Mike
Pole - switch 'source'
Throw - switch 'destination'
eg a SPDT switch has one 'source' which can selected from two possible 'destinations'
You have a 2P6T switch (or you need to make it so by using the included special washer that limits how many positions the switch can be rotated through).
If you are choosing between 6 caps or resistors:
- wire the pole (inner connection) to one end of the circuit in which the cap or resistor is being replaced
- wire the 6 r/cs to a throw each
- connect the other end of each r/c together, and wire this to the other end of the circuit in which the cap is resistor is being replaced
A diagram would make things much clearer, but I hope this helps.

I came across a diagram on the GGG site the other day. I cant remember which project though.. Sorry.. I would like a good diagram as well, but i think i have an idea either way. But i was wondering how to keep it from popping when switching.
Ooooooohhh~!!! Wow, that is easy~!! Thank you sooooo much~!!
I was making it out to be a lot more difficult than it actually is now that you explain it to me. I understand exactly what you mean Mikeb.
Thanks again Mikeb I appreciate your time and help.

Glad I can be of help ... like with anything, once you've done it a few times it becomes easy enough to do AND to explain to other people! ;)
