Yet another layout for the fuzz face... but this one has a little twist in the power supply.

Check it out here

Nice job!..... as usual :D  I like that board layout. BTW, I see you have a tonebender mkII  board for sale. Gotta layout  in the works? Can't wait for a Scrambler board!

Nice work Francisco. 8)

Thanks.

No plans to release the MK2 layout yet. It's verified and the board is available for sale, that's how it'll be for now. I may take some pictures of a populated one ;)

Now, back to the fuzz face...

I thought there'd be more comments on the peculiarities of the project... Maybe after Mark Hammer's bus ride tomorrow morning!

One ground that jumpers from pos to neg. Trannys see the same regardless. Isolated except for the pulldown resistor? Is that why C2 doesnt need to be reversed when changing polarity?

Everything inside the coupling caps c1 and c3 see the same regardles of the position of the jumper.

That's why c2 remains the same, it always has the same voltage diferential.

Ok, took a better look now. My first look was quick, impressed with its cleaness. Have you tried it yet with both grounds? What did you use for trannys? Tried Si trannys yet?  Still waiting for the Scrambler board..hint...hint..hint. lol Looks like I'll have to build another FF. Going by your board measurements, it should fit in a 1590b.

I tried it with negative ground, to power it with a regular boss style wall wart and it worked perfectly.

The transistors I used were the ones that small bear sells.

The board is 2.2"x1" so it should fit the small enclosure.

About using Si, I see no reason why not using this layout with Si.
