what does A and B mean in terms of logarihmic and linear? :?
i always bu the same brand of pots but the stopped writing "log" or "lin" on them.
anyone else come across this before?

"A" stands for "audio" or what is also called "log".
"B" stands for linear.

Beware! This is true 95% of the time. But some manufacturers use these codes the other way round... :x

or vice versa...

"C" is antilog (reversed audio)
