I don't recognize the part number. Do you have any more identifying marks like number of pins, base size, etc?

Take care,
-Peter

well might be mistaken cause the letters died away...
it has 9 pins
and as far as i can read says

YUGOSLAVIA PGL-66 (could be PCL-66 not sure)

it also has a symbol like "Ei" probably the brand

did that help???

PCL86 ? eq. of ECL86 (=6GW8) , but the >P< stands for diff. filament,
in this case: 14.5V, 300mA;
the >C< stands for triode, in this case eq. to half a 12AX7;
the >L< stands for (power-)pentode, in this case eq. to EL41, the older (and a little less powerful) brother of the EL84 (9 instead of 12W);
yes, is use-able for audio...

14GW8 is the american name for the PCL86.

>Ei< is the yugoslavian manufacturer (not sure about the name of that country right now, though  :oops: ...

just imagine you got half a 12AX7 plus an EL84...
in fact the plate-impedance (= outputtransformer)
should be a little higher than the usual EL84 trafos,
but if you stay under 250V B+, it`ll work ok if you keep
the plate current around 35mA.
make a nice clean 5W practicing amp...
(use the right heating!)

Pull the tube out of there, with the related guts?
 I know separating the sound tube's circuit from a TV would be involved, but there it all is...might have to drag the whole TV around, or make a different power supply...involved... :roll:  :lol:
