Post by: timrand on May 11, 2004, 07:53:51 AM
Hey Guys

I noticed that you can get free samples from these guys someone was saying that one of their dual opamps was a great sub for the legendary
Japan Radio Corp JRC4558 opamp.

Can somebody let me know ?

Cheers

What do you reckon is the best opamp for tubescreamers ??

What was the Burr Brown Model ?

There are a couple of burr brown models that work. I would try all of the TI opamps, including the burr browns and the RC4558, RC4559.

Order some up & let us know how they work in there. I've got a B/B OPA2134PA in my SD-1/808 and it sounds really good.
