Title: Blackfire schem vs. Blackfire PCB layout: differences?
Post by: Bucksears on May 11, 2004, 01:11:42 PM
I started putting the Blackfire PCB into Illustrator today and noticed that there are several caps on the layout that aren't in the schematic. Several pF caps and a row of 47uf caps on the end.
Are those necessary?
Can I just remove those on the PCB that aren't on the schem?

Thanks,
- Buck

The grayed out caps are optional. I put them there because I had extra space, and they can be used to tame noise, or to adjust the overall tone, etc. The 47uF caps are just there for paranoia, sometimes I've had noise issues with cheapo carbon-zinc batteries.
