what kind of output wattage does the ruby tuby preamp have...nice that it runs off of 12v.

it doesn`t have a "wattage", it`s just a preamp, which is not able to drive a speaker - you`ll need a poweramp hooked up after it...

If you want to drive a speaker with it...do search for the Ruby Tuby Amp.  That's where the preamp is derived from.

That was the first version and it is the version that I like the most (I have played with a few different ideas, but, this one is still the best one).  It should put out approximately .5 to .7 watts (which is loud enough for home playing).  Just make sure that you get Lm386 N3's and not the N1.
