Title: Complete guitar circuit with a booster
Post by: Apokas on May 19, 2004, 09:31:15 AM
First of all Hello all..this is my first post to this forum.

Now to the meat of the topic,
Im planing out a circuit for a guitar project of mine and I really would apreciate your help. The circuit is supposed to allow any possible pickup combination between 2 humbuckers and have a booster on it. the booster is there to make the guitar pickups "active"-like so they can distort easy like an EMG. I love the sound of EMG`s but I believe their versatility is pretty minimal since I only like them as a heavy distorded tone for metal rhythm playing.
Here is the circuit so far:

Please coment if it is going to work properly and add any corrections and give advises for the booster function..if it is going to be clean unaffecting the tone etc.
Thanks for reading this and im waiting for replys.

Andreas.

I started a thread on the stratoblaster a few weeks ago - use the search facility to find it. There were comments both ways, but I think it will meet your needs. Sorry, I haven't time to work through your very neat schematic...

Hi there, welcome to the forum. I would say with my tongue in my English cheek that the absence of a fuzz box reference may not attract all the attention it might otherwise have done - tricky piece of English that! you should get some response now!

hehe  :D

Thats why I said "Complete*****booster"

I thought that might attract people... I think I should have used as topic:
"DO NOT READ THIS THREAD"
That might even get more attention than the fuzz box.  :)

Assuming the pickup wiring is correct, it looks like a good circuit.
