Title: questions regarding the idiot wah

ok here goes

>1 its unbelievably noisy(okay i didnt shield it but i KNOW its not supposed to be this noisy).What causes noise and how to rectify it?

>2 what does the resonance switch do?(i know it sounds cool but what does it actually do)?

>3 popping when i touch the strings. any thoughts?

>4 why does it hate my fuzz face?(it wont go before or after it it just sits there and makes this wierd shrieking sound)

The noise and popping may indicate a grounding problem somewhere.

With a fuzz, there may be just enough gain to make the whole thing oscillate.

The resonance switch changes the filter from a bridged T to a twin T. The Twin T generally has more a peak in the passband, for a more exaggerated "wah" sound.
