Title: Little Gem problem!! help!!!

Hi guys my little gem is up and running except for 1 problem.

I can hear a radio stion from my speakers!!!!

i also hooked up some headphones too it.

the little gem sounds great except for this little problem

Do you have the amp in a shielded enclosure?

Or try and put a small (pF range) cap across the input pins...

will putting it in a metal enclosure help get rid of the noise?

Try the Pf cap at the input...
 Hard to tell what the problem is, by the time you figure that out, it should be "the problem was...".
 If it's wired right either the cap or the enclosure should get rid of radio interference.

Weird. I have my Little Gem in a plastic box and one still in the breadboard. They sound the same, no problem whatsoever.

You may want to try the Ruby, it's just a jfet buffered Gem also from runoffgroove.

You love jfet, right? :wink:
