Title: easyvibe problems!
Post by: jpb_guitars on May 25, 2004, 04:36:28 PM
I've got problems with the easyvibe I built a few months ago.
After a while, the LFO stops working. The led's stop to pulsate and the phasing tone stops.  :(
When I unplugg and plug in the cable the LFO works for about 2 seconds.
Don't know what to do???

I hate to say it, but.....check your battery...

Not enough gain in the LFO to sustain oscillation. The unplug/replug cycles the power supply and kick-starts the LFO.

Need voltages on all the IC pins. Whose layout are you using? Mine?

The effect works for about half an hour. Than it quits its work.
The same problem apears with an 9V-power-supply. I've used the layout
from Willie's homepage.
The problem first apears after putting the circuit into a box.

very OT, but while we're on the subject of the easyvibe, how hard is it to perf one?
Anyone here done this before?
