can nte46 sub for mpsa13? im using this for runoffgroove's whisker biscuit... :D

Or it works in the circuits I've used it in that call for the MPSA13 Darlington. Expensive, but they work good.

URRG.... does your dealer sell mostly NTE stuff? I have that problem. $2.5 Canadian per 4 1/4 watt resistors cauz they're NTE and flameproof. Transistors (2N5088 equiv.) are like $2.00 each. For referance, All replacement parts will "work" some tuning of biases is needed and they might sound like crap. If used in an amplifier though, NTE parts are usually better sounding than others (lower noise).
