Title: Ordering part samples need help
Post by: sir_modulus on June 01, 2004, 08:37:13 PM
My local store sells BS170's in packs of 1000 for way to much, and the NTE replacemnets are $6.00 each, so I was wondering how hard it is to request samples from a company. While I'm at it, is it hard to get samples for expensive things such as the LM12 150W Poweramp IC  from them?

go to the manufacturers website, search for the product codes (uno (http://www.fairchildsemi.com/pf/BS%2FBS170.html), dos (http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM12CL.html)) and follow your nose.

It all depends on the manufacturers policy as to how hard it is.  but it's certainly not hard to find out for yourself!  Suck it and see... as I often say.

Hey Sir Modulus,

What local store are you referring to?  I'm in Winnipeg as well... :)
