And if you did one, I could finally sell my J-Station and groove only with JFETs!

(J-station is perhaps the only modelling preamp with both guitar and bass amp simulations)

Brilliant work, nevertheless!

I still want someone to analyze a Sansamp Bass DI. I swear those things are magic! I have nice gear, G&L into Ampeg, and the Sansamp makes it even sound better. It makes any pedal I put in fromt of it sound better too. Amazing. It is also the best way I have found of getting that cranked SVT tone at rehersal volume.

Many have asked but none have replied....... What's the Sansamp Bass DI do? Sansamp specifically not DI's in general.

QuoteWhat's the Sansamp Bass DI do?

I have mentioned this a few times:  One of the things it does is provide a mid-notch, probably not unlike what you get from a fender tone stack - basically emulating the typical bass EQ from an amp.  Other than that I can't tell you any more.  There's probably not a lot of "magic" in there at the end of the day.
