Title: NTE Sub, for MAx1044 ??
Post by: petemoore on June 03, 2004, 03:05:05 PM
The Cross Reference shows nothing for that part #.
Entering 1044 brings up Zener Diodes.
Anyone know if they supply charge pumps?

NTE 9944 ?? It came up under a Mouser search. NTE lists it, but has no data sheet?

BTW, NTE has it's cross-reference data available to download as a program. NTE Quick-Cross v11.0. Handy for cross-checking when you're off-line for whatever reason. :)

There is no NTE sub, or ANY 100% identical sub from any other manufacturer, for that matter.  It's a proprietary Maxim chip.  You can use a 7660 (see Geofex article) but then you have to be careful how to wire and route things.

Maybe LTC1044 from Linear Technology. I know Linear definitely have a whole family of charge pumps, some will definitely meet/exceed specs for MAX1044.
