Title: Phase 90 trimmer question
Post by: Mike Nichting on August 29, 2003, 10:11:03 PM
Does anyone have a schematic that has the value of the trimmer for the MXR Phase 90??  I have screwed mine up and I need to replace it. I tried to tweak it like EVH did and I broke the solder that was on it keeping it from turning. Now it doesn't swoosh like it used to so I need to replace the trimmer.

R.G. you have some info for adding more stages to the Phase 90 but do you have a layout so that I could make a PCB to add to my Phase 90 and install it in a bigger Hammond box??

Thanks
Mike N

If you measure the resistance between the two outside lugs on the trimpot, you should be able to determine the size of it.

Hi Mike,

I used a 250k in mine (a clone from the Tonepad Layout)

If you want to do some fine adjustments you can use a 10-turn pot for this.

Good luck,
