Title: OT: Sustain Pedal for Casio WK-3500?
Post by: Arn C. on June 11, 2004, 10:52:27 AM
Howdy!
Does anyone know the configuration of this pedal? It has a 1/4" jack to plug the pedal into, I believe it is just on/off for the sustain which is programmed in.  There are only a couple of things that you can assign to the pedal.(Assignable Pedal Jack- Sustain, Soft, Sostenuto, Rhythm Start/Stop).  It appears to be a mono jack, just wondering if it is a momentary switch or on/off?

I would rather build one than buy one, since I have many parts.
Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks!

usually it's a normally open momentary switch.  connect the pos.
of the wire to one leg and the shield to the other.  this should
do the trick.
