Title: How to create ground on a PCB
Post by: snorky on June 13, 2004, 07:32:21 PM
Hey all,

I have a PCB with no visible ground area.  I'm really unsophisticated - usually on the PCB there is a ground "channel" around one side of the PCB and all the grounds get soldered to that.  On this one (Bennet Brown Sound) there isn't.  Can I just run all the grounds to one of the jacks?

Any advice great appreciated!

TIA,

- Mark

That's only one style of PCB layout you're describing.  Technically, you only need to tie all the grounds together (like on a jack) for your FX to work.
