Title: TL072 Sub ?

are there any other Dual Jfet's that will sub for the TL072 ?
Also does anybody know if a 478 opamp is the same as a 4558,
I can't get the spec sheet on it translated well enough to read what its saying ?

the 4558 can sub a 072 :-D

obviously, TL062 and TL082 would work.  Also, u could use 1 singles (071) or half a quad....

pretty much any dual op-amp should work, with different results.  Why not use tl072, they're pretty easy to get your hands on...

Thank's Hal, I'll do that, do you know anything about the one's marked 478 ? they are in the same circuit on this old Peavey Mace, 150 watt amp I'm restoreing, it has those piece's missing from the board so I'm going by a schematic I googled off the webb.
