try a neat trick with a j201.  tie pins 2 and 3 together (gate and source) and connect them to the anode of an LED.  connect the cathode to ground, and attach any voltage from 4 to 70 volts to the drain (pin 1) and note that the LED never changes brightness.  constant current source!  using this, you can spectacularly linearize the charging of a capacitor over a wide range.  just put the cap where the diode is and watch it on a scope with a slow scan as you charge it up to it's maximum voltage... for example, a 100uF takes a fraction of a second to charge to 16 volts and leaves a remarkably linear trace on your scope.  with some thought, you could figure out how such a simple arrangement could be put to good use in a control circuit of some kind...

Isn't that great? :D  Remember your post regarding J202? That was it. I thought you are included in the other 10 people whom Brian shall also give some trannies, or are you? Maswerte ka pre, nauna ka   (local language)

BTW, have you tried the P35 from Alexan in your BSIAB? If yes, how was it?

I tried the j202 from alexan but the circuit is noisy.
I'm not sure if it's the j202 that's causing it.
I would find it out when I get home later tonight and try those
new trannies from Brian.

Pre, ewan ko lang kung padalhan pa ulit nya ako ng 2n5089.
Alam ko kasi yung na receive ko ngayon, yun pa yung para sa
sa una kong post.
