Title: What kind of inductors do i need?
Post by: beams45601 on June 21, 2004, 06:04:29 PM
Hello, i am planning to build this pedal.

http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/v2/index.php?option=displaypage&Itemid=177&op=page&SubMenu=

I have everything together, but it does not tell me what values or kind of inductors to use. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
-Adam

From the atached project notes:
QuoteInductors.
Using 2 inductors in series gives a really fat sound which is different
than switching the 'range-capacitor'. The Fulltone-inductor gives my
main-sound and I use the original Vox-inductor in series for the 'fat'-sound

These inductors are usually grouped at c. 500mH, but anything between 250 and 800mH will probably sound good.

A Fasel Red and Fasel Yellow would  make a good combo.
