:?:
I saw another nice thing in there...
:!:
You mean page 10?
yes - I`m not at the PC with the resources and uploadability right now -
will post pic later...
OK, here you go ("page 10") :

how about one for US 120 v mains ? ;)
this is the internal step-up trafo, to create plate-voltage out of a 12V outboard AC wallwart
where can I get it in europe? what does it cost?
Cool!!!!

So, are these trafos available? Where? Where was this ad? I don't see anything on the EH web site.
Thanks!

I like how you answer this question at the end of this thread by sending readers to a different thread where you answer the exact same question by sending them to this thread...seemingly never answering at all. It's like being stuck in a maddening time warp with no way out.

Thanks, puretube!
I just don't have time to read every single thread here (any more). I only look at the ones with subject lines that interest me. And, that subject line, "
can`t believe it...," just didn't do anything at all for me (sorry). So, I rely on the kindness of others, like yourself, to point out topical information that's burried in threads with meaningless subject lines. 8)
Anyway... That is too cool! I gotta have me a few of those trafos!
Say... I wonder if there's anyone here with some inside connections who could maybe score a small quantity for interested DIY'ers here? I'd be glad to handle the administrative duties. 8)
thx!

moose: I`m quite sure, that aron (or smallbear) will take care of that,
if s.o. (not me) sends them an email pointing at this thread, and/or attach
the pic from the catalogue....
o.t.o.h. any shop that carries E-H pedals/tubes will be able to order them
(my guess: they are available right now already).
I`ve already spent way too much time on this small thing having it custom-made to my specs, and testing it in all configurations and for
50 &60Hz...
b.t.w.: it`s 40 x 40 mm, 18 mm height...
This sounds like an excellent thing for me to get cause I really want it too!!!!!
Thanks ...!!!! 8)
How do you mount it inside the box?
it`s got 2x 4 pins for PCB mounting on two opposing sides (prim/sec);
additionaly, a centred hole in the middle of the bottomside with a M4 thread...
weight: ~85 grams
Cool! Well... we'll see what New Sensor has to say. I just dropped them an email.

...they`ll probby tell ya, you need a "wholesale account", i.e.: order large quantities (???)
:?:
I will get some in. Don't worry guys! :)
Would these trafos (distributed by Digi-Key) do exactly the same thing if you just wired them in reverse?
http://rocky.digikey.com/WebLib/Amveco-Talema/Web%20Data/70000%20Series%20Low%20Profile%20PC%20Mount%20Transformers.pdf
Depending on the size, in single quantities they're between ~$10 and ~$30 each.

Yes.
-Eric
any transformer can be wired in reverse...
... yeah, cool.
Then, how important is the current rating for the transformer secondary, compared to the wallwart's current output? Do they need to be the same?
thx, again!
~ Charlie
err..., a very complicated matter, to get where the E-H trafo`s are now...
