Title: Diode sub 1SR139
Post by: Bent Penguin on June 25, 2004, 04:31:33 AM
I'm so close to sending an order to smallbear but I can't figure out my last part. The paralooper schematic shows a diode 1SR139, is there anything at smallbear that will work instead?

1SR139 didn't even come up once in the search here, that surprised me.

And the schematic is here, the diode is on the bottom left in the power supply

Thanks

Here's the datasheet
http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheet/1S/1SR139-400.shtml

I suppose you can change it with any 1n400x diode: http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheet/1N/1N4001.shtml
I suggest the 1n4004.

They are both general purpose rectifiers and in the schem is used to short the circuit in case of reversed polarity.

I'll give that one a try, the data sheet is a bit over my head ;)

Thanks from me and all of the pothead pixies :)
