For some reason, I'm thinking this isn't off topic much. Can anyone tell me why? He was a big influnce on Elvis, Lennon, etc. Keith Richards has a son named Marlon. Was Brando R&R??? 8) 8) 8)
I don't recall Brando having any hit records. If he had, he could've been a contender.
Marlin and Lee Marvin in the Wild One got my interest in owning a HD motorcycle, I was just a youngsster but I already new I wanted to play guitar and I needed a HD like Elvis, the rest is History, acording to my dad, "son, you ain't ever gonna amount to hill a S**t"And Low and Behold, He's probably Right, I been called Oilfield Trash for bout 35 years, LOL !

There was defintively an aura of rock and roll about him - I mean if u can be a sex symbol with a name like Marlon you've definitely got to have a few secret boost channels on your amplifier

wonder if he was a Gibson or Fender man?
Do you think he might have been a big Gibson BASS man? For the same reasons that Sid V never took to six strings.
There's a good chance that he was more of a "Kentucky Fried Chicken" man.

I'm thinking '59 Explorer thru a very large RMS - Raging Marshal Stack (thanks to Aron for that concept). You can't say he was a minimal presence. 8) 8) 8) 8)

He was probably a rare vintage archtop, something that became warped, toneless and unplayable with age, but people were still prepared to pay a fortune for it...
My impression was that he became whatever combination of guitar and amp sounds like a mouthful of cotton wool.
