Hey, what do you think of this soldering station? worth it?

The difference that active temperature control makes is night and day from a regular pencil iron.

A popular Taiwanese maker is Xytronics. Try the search function above with that name and you'll see lots of positive feedback about such stations and nothing negative. 8)

One of those and some 63/37 solder and you're in a totally new game. :D

B. Tremblay analogized soldering with that combo to be like waving a magic wand. 8)

That's my solder station  :wink:

Had it 3 weeks now and I would never go back to the Antex cr*p I had before. Well worth it, but one with a temp display would be better.
