Title: boss DD3 help
Post by: yerblues on July 04, 2004, 06:00:59 PM
I don't know if this is where to post this. I have a boss dd3 pedal that works with a battery, but not with a wall wart. The LED comes on but it hums loudly. I would like to fix this because this pedal eats batteries fast.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you positive the wallwart is ok? Usually, humming with no other sound means your polarity is reversed on the adapter plug.

Maybe your wart can't supply enough current, some of these Boss Digital fx are real hogs.
It is supposed to have a PSA-120 adaptor, don't know what these are rated at.. anyone?
