Title: Charlie's Small Stone Mods
Post by: phillip on July 11, 2004, 02:57:16 PM
Charlie, in the second sound guitar clip (VibeVibrato) on your Small Stone mods page, which switch settings did you use to get that great pseudo Univibe sound?  Was it just the 4PDT Univibe cap ratio switch?  Sounds like half-way through you flipped the "color" switch into action too :)

I have a reissue USA-made Small Stone that I don't use because its stock sound doesn't fit into my setup, but with that swirly Vibe sound it would!

TIA!
Phillip

Hi Phillip
I'm out of town, away from my stuff. But, I can get back to you next week.

phillip,
Yes... IIRC, that whole clip was done with 'vibe switch on (univibe filter caps). First half has the vibrato switch off (normal wet/dry blended output). Second half has the vibrato switch on (wet output only).
