Title: Need a few thousand Morley Photo Cells
Post by: nirvanas silence on July 25, 2004, 11:45:52 PM
I need about 1000 of these guys, maybe less.

Its from the Morley wahs I believe.  Light resistance is under a few hundred ohms, dark is probably close to 20M.  Its very responsive as well.  Where can I get a good deal on these?

For that number I'd start contacting the manufacturers directly, likely those based in Asia.

WIDE specs...
I could work with some of those...the ones I got down to about 200k [light] to 2=5 meg dark, I'm having troubles finding a useful application for them.

Ok, so that didn't work .... for a cut of 5% of the price of the items, I'll do the leg work for you...... ;)

But seriously - if you are in a position where you need 1000 of something, you need to learn some skills as regards parts sourcing.

Good luck

Mike
