Title: How do I design a custom PCB?
Post by: Craig V on July 26, 2004, 01:40:15 PM
Hi,

What I'm trying to do is take the Clapton 25dB midboost circuit and make a PCB that fits in the control cavity, and mounts to the pots.

Here is a very similar example of what I mean:

On an actual Clapton circuit, the middle tone pot is a special TBX tone control, which is dual ganged.

Does anyone have the measurements of the control cavity of a Stratocaster with 3 knobs?

Is there a special program that I use to design a PCB?

Thanks.

strat caveties are big, i've already jammed a lotta stuff in mine :-D

however, they vary with model, i think.

get PCBexpress.  Good stuff.

maybe i'll help you, my friend wanted one of those...
