Thanks for the heads-up.  Seems like a lot of work to make a Son of Screamer... and in the process gut the resale value of the pedal.  Personally, I'd rather roll my own and leave my TS-9 alone.  I suppose it makes sense of your switch is going bad anyway.

Personally, I wouldn't bother either, unless someone specifically asked me do that mod. Part of what makes a home-rolled TS-9/808 appealing is the true bypass. To me, if your gonna go through all that trouble, build your own, to your specs, right from the beginning. But, it will be useful for alot of folks who dont want to order parts, do alot of wiring, or do an entire layout. I think it's worth sharing.

Looks like a spell-checker solved most of the usual problems - didn't find 'aide' though! ;) I guess the internet has a much lower standard for correct English.

No picture from the outside - why? Because it looks so bloody ugly, like a try-hard Ghazala creation! :roll:
