Are you sure that everything is connected to ground properly at the volume pot? Maybe you have a cold solder joint or something?  :?

Maybe one of the jacks is wired wrong or backward?

Ok, i found i had a faulty volume pot, got it from dick smiths, all my pots from there fail :x . Ive replaced it with an alpha pot 1M, and now i get signal though, but it sounds horrible misbiased. Does anyone have any highway 89 voltage readings i could compare with?
