Title: question about the 2 tone audio oscillator
Post by: remmelt on August 04, 2004, 12:03:50 PM
hello!

for use with an audio probe, i was looking at this 2 tone oscillator (http://www.diyguitarist.com/Images/TwoToneOscillator.gif). the pic is a bit blurry, and i can't make out where to connect the output to.

here is my take, correct me if i'm wrong, please.
i only drew half the circuit because i am at work (read: lazy).

what's the difference between that one and the q&d one on geofex?

The wiper of the level control isn´t connected to ground. Schematic uses the circle to represent the output jack. Outer range of the circle is the ground connection and inner black hole is the audio lug of the jack.
So basically you take the output from the wiper of the level jack. Difference seems to be just that there is 2 oscillators that are octave above and below each other.
