Post by: Prive on August 06, 2004, 08:33:04 PM
Yes yes an 3 times yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recieved some 2n2222 and after some months i give it a try again.

Yes it works right but how Zvex says 12V

Thanks Moosapotamus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saludos, Marcelo.

negistors can be fussy down around 9 volts.  they might work, but often have trouble.  i use a negistor in my nano head as the basis for a VCO/regulator in the high-voltage switching supply, and the input voltage is 12VDC for that one.

Right on, Marcelo!
Very glad to hear you got some good stuff going on. Curious, did you make it with any changes to this circuit... http://www.moosapotamus.com/tri-negistor/TriNegSchematic.gif? I know that folks have gotten mixed results using the negistor as a sound/noise generator, particularly with putting three of them in series as in the tri-negistor. Good on you, man!!!

Cheers!

The schem is the same, but i use 100 ohms against 100K and i think i'll change the pots to 10 or 20K cause only works in the lower R settings.
I made some changes in the caps value and i try one of your ideas, i use a momentary switch in series with a .01 cap from the second stage emitter to the first stage base, some kind of feedback, interesante!!!!!!
Completly another animal with 9V, maybe i'll use a switch between 9 and 12.

Cool, that's interesting. A sag pot to adjust the voltage might be worth a try, too.

It should be possible to make a trinegistor style noisebox using 555s, since they are both relaxation oscillators.

hey tt... you rock! 8)
I am totally going to build that infinitephase. It's only, like, one of a dozen or so different projecets I've got going on at the same time right now, but it's right up there near the top!
Hope all is going well on your end.
