This one has boggled me for a while.
I have an old MXR Stereo flanger. The black one, with the blue type on it, with the fet switching (methinks). One the battery door, there is a slot, which says 'interface' on it. When you remove the door, there's a multi-pin attachment that reads next to each pin, in the following order:
v+ext in; remote; input; gnd; output1; output2; status; switch
I think it is fairly obvious what these do, but my question is: was this feature only used for q/c testing, or was there a 'remote control' unit for this MXR pedal series (I think it's called the 'Performer Series')? It would be nice the be able to mount a control box on a mic stand, so I wouldn't have to bend over every time I have to change the rate.
Does anyone here know anything about this?
I don't recall there being a multi-pedal controller for the Comande series, but that's entirely possible, and kind of ingenious.
