Title: channel switcher boxes for effects enclosures
Post by: b_rogers on August 07, 2004, 06:47:52 PM
my channel/reverb switcher for my classic 50 looks like it would be pretty easy to slide a FF or small circuit in there..

anyone done this?

i have worked at music stores and usually there is a box of broken ones somewhere collecting dust. im sure you could talk the salesman outta a couple for free or 5 bucks..  the metal box ones would be better for sheilding of course.

i think i am gonna put a mrs piggy in it this weekend

I just got some computer AB boxes for 25 cents each.
The one has a Meteor in it, and usese one of the 20 or so DPDT's of the switch for True Bypass !!!
The ohter one's switch I havent figured a way to use it for a DPDT, using the DMM to try to map out a section, but the BOX is Heavy Guage, very well built.
By the way the Meteor is really hot/nice sounding, thanks Doug H. for the schematic and soundclips!!!
