Title: EA Trem cap values
Post by: dv8 on August 13, 2004, 05:20:13 PM
I'm building the EA trem from ROG and just figured out I only have 0.47 polarized caps :x .  Will these work correctly and which orientation do I place them?

thanks,

.47uF caps will result in the entire LFO range being 2x faster than stock.

Check the perf layout for the correct orientation of polarized caps.

I was talking about the 0.47 uF caps from ROG schematic before the output of the effect and the 0.47uF on the neg side of the blinking LED (connected to the collector of the 2N5088).

I'm not replacing the values of the 3-0.1 uF caps on the rate end.

The LFO caps are 1uF - caution...

The output cap has negative side connecting to 100k vol pot, positive side to the drain of Q1.

The LFO output cap has negative side connecting to 120k and positive side to collector of Q3

Yes, they'll work...
