Title: Reticon SAD4096 ic's?
Post by: Mark Abbott on September 01, 2004, 04:44:49 AM
I was wondering if anyone knows who sells the Reticon SAD4096 IC and for how much?

Thanks for your help.

Yours Sincerely

Those haven't been made in decades. Expect them to be priced like T.Rex fossils - dirt cheap as a novelty if the current owner doesn't know what he has, like gold dust if the current owner knows what they are.

They were never cheap. I think they were about $40 each new.

The last commercial stocks of 4096 I saw were gone three years ago.

Yup. I snagged one of the last from Midwest Analog Products for a dod analog delay about that time, looked back a week later and they were all gone.

Thank you all for the response. I was after the IC to fix a crappy MXR Time Delay pedal. It's not my pedal, but as long as I've done all I can to help, what else can be expected.
