Title: Tonepad LPB 1 Booster doesnt work. Help!

Hi @ all.
I'm new here  :)

Have a Problem with A LPB 1 Booster.

The Bypass work.
But when I switch the Button to on, the loudness goes down  
and not up.  :?

I'm not good with German but I saw the first picture of your board.  I see a socket for the transistor but where is the transistor?  With out the transistor you won't get much of anything.

Seeing Severin's pic, and reading the quote, reminds me why I miss Germany!!!
 As far as the booster, there's probly just a small wiring error or something like that.
  Take some pin voltages off the Transistor legs from ground...audio probe...you're // close I think.

Hi, for an in depth look at the lpb-1, take a look at the analysis on effectronics from J. Philpott.

double check your wiring then take voltage readings on each leg of the transistor. we'll help you from there.
