Title: More and better Maxon booster PICS!!!
Post by: mongo on September 09, 2004, 07:51:13 AM
Ok, here are the new pics, this time in focus and of the same unit ;-D

I think it is possible to clone it from this pics, altough  there is nothing on the transistors to know numbers or anything... what do you think?

Yup, that seals it, it's a transistor Muff Fuzz copy.  Transistor type is unimportant, you can use a 2N5088 or 2SC1815 if you really want the original japanese pinout (ECB, 2N5088 is EBC).

What's the value of the volume control?  If you have a multimeter, put it on a 1M ohm range and measure across the outside legs of the control.
