Title: ab box
Post by: siaoguitar on September 14, 2004, 08:38:08 PM
Hi to all, I've completed my first project, the AB box by Aron (battery snap replaced by dc jack) at FAQ page(amp/tuner)

but my only problem is
1) the hum when i connected the out to my guitar amp, is it because i have not mount the components in my enclosures?

2) Can i connect a battery snap to the wiring? Coz' i tried soldering a battery snap after the dc jack then the black wire of the battery snap to ground, the circuit didn't work, should i connect the battery snap directly to the switch?

Aron what's the difference between this and the true bypass box with led by you?

Are you sure that all your grounds are connected together?

The cracks/snaps indicate bad solder connections. Please check your wires/solder points.

Was wondering if there's any problem with it?
