Title: Guitar Switch Schematic Symbol?
Post by: phillip on September 14, 2004, 10:28:54 PM
Does anyone know what a guitar pickup selector switch would look like when drawn as a regular schematic instead of the pictorial diagrams that everyone has?

I'd be particularly insterested in the Fender 4-way Tele mod switch.

It would be a lot easier for me to understand how they work if I knew what the internal contact connections look like when drawn as a regular schematic...

TIA!
Phillip

More like a SPxT to me... In a 5 way that would be SP3T.

But with a twist. In two positions it's touching 2 pins at a time.

pos1: pin1
pos2: pin1-pin2
pos3: pin2
pos4: pin2-pin3
pos5: pin3

My program has SP8T like this:

More of a diagram than schematic.
